...or Get the 5-pack Mar 30, 2011
By C. MacPhail The 5-pack: Energizer 357/303 Multi-Drain Battery, 5-Pk is also a good deal -- about 1.15 each (delivered).
This battery size is available in either Silver Oxide or Alkaline versions.
It's not stated in the amazon listing, but these are the better type: Silver Oxide.
According to Wikipedia, the Silver Oxide have a slightly higher voltage, (1.55v vs. 1.50v), last about 50% longer and also hold a more constant voltage as they're used up.
Also, these Energizers claim a 7-year shelf life.

3 batteries in 1 Mar 31, 2011
By jayw654 I have done a lot of reading and grabbing specs and the benefit of these batteries over the cheaper ones is that 1 battery is equal to 3 of the cheapies which means they'll last 3 times longer. I bought some Maxells and not knowing what I was buying as I thought " They are all the same" and this simply wasn't true. For watches, remotes, calculators and lights which are all high drain devices these batteries are best suited for such devices.

Great Price, but..... Sep 09, 2012
By Pippin Batteries were shipped quickly and appear to be as advertised. I have only used one and since I don't have a battery tester can't provide the metrics of other reviews. The packaging lists Made in U.S.A. for Energizer Holdings Inc., St. Louis MO. The but.... in the title is that there is no expiration date on the product or the packaging. I came back to the battery section of Amazon to purchase a different size and was so put off by all the negative and very specific reviews for that size that I didn't buy anything. The cost of a defective battery goes well beyond the purchase price. A damaged or destroyed electronic item isn't worth saving a buck for a grey market product of unknown quality.
I also find it surprising that Amazon has not responded to what appears to be a real problem of credibility in this category.

All of them were dead! Sep 28, 2012
By Manuel Grajeda

The batteries arrived quick, but all of them were dead. I tested all these batteries with a voltmeter and none of them made it into the "good" range. I looked for an expiration date but couldn't find it. These batteries were probably really old.
