The ad clearly states this listing is for a 5-Pack of batteries; the above customer must be new to Amazon and must not have read the ad or the seller listings before going off. Every seller is selling 5-packs of batteries, not one individual battery as he stated. These Sony's (like most brand name batteries) list for $1.95 to $2.95 each per battery when you can even find them at a store. 5 Sony's for .01 plus shipping is quite a good deal!

The batteries I recieved have a "use by date" three months after the day I recieved them. There is a reason they are selling these cheap and that's because they are expiring.

and I 'bumped' into this item while searching for several sizes of 'button' batteries. Received quickly; and SUDDENLY they were GONE! when my household knew I had some on hand. Wish I had bought 2 if not several packages. No problems with battery life or performance. EVERYONE, at our house, is happy.

$0.01 + $5 shipping. It's a great price, if you are only buying one pack. $5.01 for one pack. $10.02 for two packs, and so on. That' s a little lame, since I only need 6. (And I know shipping something that weighs less than an ounce isn't $5).

Why oh why does Amazon allow this deceptive practice to continue? If you order from these scammers, they will charge you $5 PER BATTERY shipping!! Do not order from these jokers. Buy the packs of larger quantities from reputable dealers.
