Great gift for a Betty Boop lover Sep 02, 2011

I bought this for my girlfriend since she loves Betty Boop and wanted a new watch. Fancy watches are wasted on her but she is 28 and I wanted to get her something that she would like and that didn't look cheap.
I went for this since, a) it's Betty Boop and she's in love with her, and b) it's only 20 bones, and I can drop that on a watch plus bracelet and not be upset if it bombs or doesn't work.
Happy to say, she loved it, (the price is our little secret ;), and the metal on the band actually looks nice. It's not even on the line of FOSSIL brand bands but it is still nice and doesn't look cheap for price. The face is well done and the watch works like a charm. She's had it since March 2011 and it still keeps time.
The watch, again, is definitely casual, and would stand out with anything dressy, but works good for just a casual relax wear watch and would be good for a teen, (at least those who are part of the Betty Boop nostalgia group). The bracelet is well done for the price but once again is nothing spectacular. It is what it is, I don't think anyone is expecting Jared's quality out of a cartoon/movie themed accessory. But definitely a worthy gift for a fan.
