| | Description | About Bulova: The beginnings of the Bulova Watch Corporation can be traced to a small jewelry store opened on Maiden Lane in New York City in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, a 23-year-old immigrant from Bohemia. In 1911, Bulova began manufacturing boudoir and desk clocks, along with fine pocket watches, which he made and sold in unprecedented numbers. During World War I, wristwatches were issued in the military for their greater convenience. Returning veterans brought them home, and a new fashion was created. In the 1950s, Bulova developed the Accutron, the first electronic watch, which was accurate to keeping time to within two seconds a day. During the 1960s, NASA asked the company to bring its timing expertise to computers for the Space Program. A Bulova timer was placed on the moon's Sea of Tranquility to control the transmissions of vital data through the years. | |

Very Nice Watch Mar 24, 2011
By Josh J. Farris I've had this watch for about two weeks now, and I really like it. As others have stated, it is darker than what is shown in the picture. But I think it looks even better this way... it's like a dark gunmetal black. It's noticeable, and does stand out some. But it's not a flashy watch in my opinion. I wanted a nice dress watch with an edge, and that's exactly what this is. The diamonds are very small, but because of the square stainless steel border around them, at first glance it looks like the diamonds are square and larger. But to me this watch still comes off as being classy, and not in-your-face with bling all over it.
The band is comfortable. There have been a couple times where it comes undone all of a sudden, but not on a regular basis. I just snapped it back in and it was fine. I think the size is ideal too... it has some weight and is solid, but isn't an oversized watch. I have smaller wrists and it still looks good.
It keeps time well, as you'd expect. Because it's an automatic, you either need to wear it regularly or you'll have to set the time before wearing it. I was out of town for three days and when I got home it was off by about an hour (my understanding is this is pretty normal for an automatic watch that hasn't been worn in a few days). I just reset it and manually wound it.

Beautiful watch but.... Jan 26, 2011
By Amanda I got this watch for my boyfriend for Christmas. He searched the whole internet for a watch and this is the one he finally picked out. He loves it and its just as beautiful in person as it is in the picture. But where the watch closes at comes open very easily. He will just be walking and it pops open and almost falls off. Only downfall...

Affordable, flashy watch Mar 11, 2011
By Bulova Watch This watch genuinely looks very expensive even though it is reasonably price. My only problem with the watch is that it doesn't resemble the image on the web. On the web it looks like it would have a matte finish, but in person the finish is glossy (don't think too many guys like that).
SOOOOOO Nice Oct 30, 2011
By Payton Bought this watch nearly a year ago for my boyfriend- it was nice but had to get it resized which we just did last month. Now that it fits and it really nice and adds a wow factor to his wrist. The resizing was a bit difficult- had to take it to two different jewlers but it was worth it!
another one... Apr 10, 2011
By eddi3 I bought this watch 5 month ago here on amazon, and I really like it from day one and wore it ever since. Two days ago mu dad came to visit and he was looking at watch all day asking to try to see how it fits his wrist so I gave him as early b-day (in two weeks) present. Now I miss my watch and I'm looking to buy another one, it is nice watch and looks better in real then in picture.
