Looks much more expensive than the price Aug 19, 2011
By BCM First of all, I'll never buy a watch from anyone other than Amazon. After doing a lot of shopping, you can't come close to the price. I received the watch at my office and the first comment from someone that saw it was "Wow, that's an expensive watch". I asked a co-worker how much he thought I paid, and he guessed 700-800. Bulova makes a great looking watch. It looks much better in person than the photos. Feel is heavy but not too heavy, the watch is big but not too big... thick but not too thick. There is only one thing keeping me from the 5th star. If I tilt it to each side there is about 1mm of play in the second hand (which is actually only used for the chronograph). Instead of staying dead center at the 12 o'clock position it shifts half a millimeter side to side. Hardly a reason to return it, and I'm sure I'm the only one that will ever notice it. But for 5 stars it should be absolutely 100% flawless.

Excellent product Oct 10, 2010
By Pedro I have bought a lot of watch in my life, now I have to say: This is the best watch I have ever own. It is beautiful, elegant and sport at the same time. My friends think that I am rich, but as you can see in the price of this piece of technology I am not rich, I am smart. 100% recommended.... By the way: I have been using this watch for three moths continuously and still looks like new.
Nice LOOKING watch. Poor quality Apr 30, 2012
By SC I bought this watch as an anniversary gift for my husband.. This watch looks fantastic but is POOR quality for the price you are paying. In the first week of wearing it, my husband took our son to the pool not taking it off due to it being water resistant... Water leaked in and destroyed this watch in seconds. Very disappointing for the Bulova brand. Needless to say we are now dealing with Bulova warranty.
Superb Apr 24, 2012
By Texas Telecaster This watch exceeded my expectations, especially for the price offered. Workmanship and visual quality are top notch, and all functions and features look and perform as stated by Amazon and the Bulova company. The chronograph second hand does in fact move back and forth ever so slightly when not in function (as mentioned in a previous review) but it is very little movement. The masculine form and build of this watch is confirmed when in hand - it is heavy, thick banded, and sporty. The chronograph feature is easy to operate, but in my opinion it is slightly difficult to read exact time measurements on the graduated dials. The band and clasp are both very secure and feel sturdy. Bezel operation is precise and tight. The iridescent accents on the hands and hour markers are not of high output, so the dial is hard, if not impossible, to read in low light situations. Overall this watch is gorgeous and of high quality, but is not so flashy that it would be out of place for casual or working environments. I would purchase this item again if it were lost, stolen, or broken. Highly recommend.

Wow just got this watch today, and I love it! I went to several watch store the other day trying to find a reasonably priced, true chronograph to add to my collection. After hours of looking through a bunch over priced watches and reasonably priced false chronographs I finally came across this. Just as I was about to leave the store the owner told me he had one more chronograph to show me, and it was this one :) I liked it. It was simple, functional and it felt nice and solid. While I was looking at it one of the other SA's said it was a divers watch. I though "pshh a real divers watch would have a divers extension (so it could fit over a wet suite). I didn't even look to see if it had one (I was sure that it didn't) until today, and it does! That was a total surprise that made me really happy! Unfortunately I noticed the Second hand on the chronograph was setting to 59 seconds. I was in a rush so I couldn't have the owner see if there was another. So I left a $20 down payment on the $280 price I was quoted. Of course when I got home I looked up the watch here, on Amazon. and it's $70 cheaper... I was ready to order it and just forget about my deposit, the guy's definitely earned that 20 lol But one of the reviewers mentioned their second hand wobbling. That was enough of a reason for me to buy it in person, especially since I didn't buy it then for almost the same reason... It was worth the extra cash IMO to make sure it worked %100
Ughh just wanted to tell that story I guess :)
To sum things up. I'm really happy with this watch, it feels very solid and is nice and heavy (but not too heavy). It has a true chronograph, and divers extension! Along with a unidirectional bezel. Definitely worth the price. The three subdials display minutes(at the 12 position), hours (9), and 20ths of a second (6)for the chronograph. Also the subdial at 6 o'clock also tells seconds when not being used as a chronograph. I just wish the bezel wasn't quite so busy looking, it takes me a few seconds to properly position/read it (I guess I'll get used to it). The only other "problems" with this watch is that the second hand doesn't sweep and the bottom plunger dosn't "pause" the time... A tachymeter would have been nice too :) As long as it functions the way it has been for the next few years I'll be incredibly happy. 5 stars all day. I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking for a reasonable chronograph.
Edit: WOW! Just noticed that there is a tachymeter!!! this watch is getting cooler by the second :)
