| | Description | About Bulova: The beginnings of the Bulova Watch Corporation can be traced to a small jewelry store opened on Maiden Lane in New York City in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, a 23-year-old immigrant from Bohemia. In 1911, Bulova began manufacturing boudoir and desk clocks, along with fine pocket watches, which he made and sold in unprecedented numbers. During World War I, wristwatches were issued in the military for their greater convenience. Returning veterans brought them home, and a new fashion was created. In the 1950s, Bulova developed the Accutron, the first electronic watch, which was accurate to keeping time to within two seconds a day. During the 1960s, NASA asked the company to bring its timing expertise to computers for the Space Program. A Bulova timer was placed on the moon's Sea of Tranquility to control the transmissions of vital data through the years. | |

Overall this watch looks a lot like the picture, however there is a fine sunray texture on the outer part of the dial and the center texture looks a little coarser than pictured. The watch is very heavy because the solid metal bracelet is very thick. The case itself does not feel thick though because it is curved. Bracelet tends to pull hand hair a little - not a major problem. There is NO water resistance specified on the back.

This watch was a birthday gift for my husband. He loved it!
He also got lots of coplements from other people who said that it is a very nice watch. What's also nice about it is that I got it for less than half of its original price. Finally, it looks just like it's shown on the picture.
P.S. the bracelet shines nicely like some kind of expensive metal, and the diamonds give it an attractible look. Hope it was helpful.

The watch is very beautiful; however, what I find annoying is that the bracelet pops off the latch depending on how I move my wrist. This is my opinion is a big defect as the watch can fall unexpectedly and damage itself. I am in communication now with Luxi to see what can be done about this.

Very satisfied. The watch arrived timely and is very nice. Made of great quality and matches almost everything. Slightly heavy but worth it.

First off, the watch is heavy, but since some of my other watches also are heavy, this isn't a concern.
The picture is accurate. The watch seems wide; it doesn't fit one of my watch boxes.
The chevron pattern is cut onto the links, rather than having numerous little pieces that link through a pin, so adjusting the size down is really an easy thing to do.
In short it is a nice addition to the collection.
