Decent watch, but not quite as advertized Feb 08, 2008
By Ben I've been wearing the watch for about a month now, and it does work very well. A couple of notes aren't well disclosed, however:
- When I bought the watch, I assumed it was an all-metal construction, the pictures make it look like the bezel and the band are both stainless steel. In fact, the band is stainless, but the bezel is a somewhat cheap-looking chromed plastic. Not quite what I had in mind, but you get what you pay for.
- It is far too easy to switch into and out of daylight savings mode - Just holding down one of the buttons for a little over a second switches between them and automatically takes an hour off (or puts one back on) your time...This freaked me out a couple of times until I figured out what was happening.
Overall, a pretty good watch, but it isn't necessarily exactly what it looks.

Elegant looks but somewhat hard to see Jun 28, 2007
By Donald Wile I've owned an older model Casio Data Bank watch and decided to upgrade to this model. I've always found it useful to have important data stored in my watch. It has some nice improvements (such as the 10 year battery life) but some of the data is hard to read because its too small...in particular the "date" and phone numbers. I like the destinctive beep when you cycle back to the main watch screen. You get a beep when you cycle to phone numbers or stop watch or alarm but the main watch screen has a different beep that allows you to know you've arrived. I also like the back light, a feature my previous watch lacked. As with my previous watch, the five alarms come in handy to remind me of meetings or whatever. The watch band works well and the clasp is adjustable by me to fit my small wrist size. At first I was concerned the metal band would catch and pull the hair on my wrist, but I found adjusting the band for a snug fit fixed that problem. Programming the watch is simple and I didn't even need to read the manuel. It is a very attractive watch and so far I'm happy with my purchase.

5 independent alarms -- full of features Nov 10, 2006
By Samuel Thomas Sander
"Mr. Fixit"
Pros: Inexpensive watch with many features. Lightweight.
I bought this watch because of the 5 independent alarms. That's why I prefer this watch to my other watch that cost 5 times more. I have a PDA and cell phone, but I'm always leaving them somewhere.
Cons: Only water "resistant", and the plastic case feels a little cheap.

OK, but buttons toggle modes too readily Jun 17, 2008
By S. P. Pagiola Perfectly good watch for the price, but the buttons that toggle the AM-PM vs 24 hr presentation is much too easy to click accidentally (eg by snagging on a shirtsleeve), so that whichever mode you prefer, you'll find that half the time you're in the other. That's annoying enough. Even worse is that the button that toggles savings time is also far to easy to click accidentally. Even though you have to push the button for some two seconds for it to toggle, that turns out to be not so hard to do. And then your watch is off by an hour, and the only clue is a very very tiny "DST" or "EST" text in a corner.

Lots of features for the price Feb 17, 2008
By Jerome P. Menkhaus This watch is simple to use and it has lots of features. Besides time & date and a database (that I don't use), it has 5 alarms, a stop watch, a count-down timer, and a date & time for a second location. If these are the features you are looking for in a watch, this is a good choice for the money. It is less than half an inch thick and comes with a 10-yr. battery. Setting functions is easy with the Forward and Reverse buttons that allow you to get to the desired numbers quickly.
