"not quite a hippie chick"
I really like the look of this watch. I wanted an inexpensive reliable watch and this one fit the bill. The only drawback is that I can't adjust it to fit my wrist (I usually wear a 7" bracelet and this watch slides down a few inches on my arm when I wear it). It's a beautiful classicly styled watch that I will search for a way to resize, it's worth it!

I looked and looked for a "dressy" watch, and when I saw this one...had to have it. When it finally came in I put it on. It is the perfect fit and so nice to look at! I am highly recommending this one!

I love the look of this watch. It is holding up well, too. But I can't tell the time. The angles are sharp and without numbers, I sometimes don't know the correct hour. A bigger face might help, but really it needs numbers or more lines to show where the numbers would be.

"born 4 decades too late"
First off, I gave this product 3 stars not because I didn't like the watch, but because of the condition that it came in.
The description of this product said that this was a new watch. The one that came in my mail is definitely not new.
The packaging of the delivery box was fine. It was the actual box of the watch that was a bit faded, had scratches, bent in some places, ripped, and it was already open. Inside the box, everything was all scattered. The plastic thing that holds the watch in place was disassembled, and the watch was thrown to the side of the box.
On the watch, there was no clear film that is usually on the face and the back of the watch when it is bought new. Also, there are many fine scratches on the back of the watch and along the band, with some dents on one part of the band. The front of the watch, where the glass of the face meets the frame, there is a big noticeable scratch.
Amazon is usually dependable in the products that I buy, but this one was a disappointment. I'm sure I got the only one that was in this condition, and the others are in much better conditions.
If this watch was for me, I wouldn't care so much. But this was a gift to my mother and I plan on buying another (the same watch) and hope that it will be in good condition.
