Easy to use radio-controlled watch Jul 22, 2010 I bought this watch as a replacement for a Timex radio-controlled watch whose non-replaceable band had failed after a couple of years. The Casio is bulkier, but I think the band will hold up longer - and anyway it's replaceable.
The setup is typical for this sort of digital watch, and it goes well if you follow the instructions. This one synchronizes with WWVB at 4 minutes after midnight, and if it fails, tries again in an hour. A nice feature is one-button access to the most recent sync time, date, and signal strength. I leave the "world time" zone set to London without DST, which is UTC. The time display is big enough, but the date is a bit small. The only goofy thing about the instructions is that you're supposed to point the 12 o'clock side of the watch toward Colorado. This is not an analog watch, so there's no 12 o'clock side. The watch matches my other radio-controlled time sources, so I am happy.
Good value May 30, 2010 The only issue I had with the watch, if you can really cal it that, was that I had to wait overnight to get the time to correctly show daylight savings time. Other than that, it's a great value.
Best watch ever!!! Apr 01, 2010 This is a great watch with so many features.
As an MRI Tech I need a reliable watch that is compatible with the magnetic field.
One of my coworkers bought this same watch and recommended it to me.
What I like best is that this is an Atomic watch, which gives you the most accurate time on planet earth!
Just set it near a window and it will synchronize itself with the Atomic Clock in Colorado!
Right on! Mar 22, 2010 The watch arrived on time and was pretty easy to set up and start using. I like the look and so far it seems to be everything I wanted when I ordered it.
I wanted it easy to read: it is. Multi-function: it is. With a strong long strap for my big wrist: it has that.
Great Christmas Gift! Feb 05, 2010 I got this for my dad for Christmas - he needed a work watch and I wanted to get him something that was a little different. He loved it! By the next morning, the atomic clock had reset to the correct time - great product and easy set-up!
