Not sure what I expected from the diamonds when I bought this, but you have to realize that they are encased in metal, and mostly all the shine you get from the sides is from the metal itself. The diamonds are really tiny!
That said, it's a cool watch. I do secretly feel important with the diamonds in there and with a watch that's not an ordinary men's watch. It keeps excellent time. I've had it for months now, and it's only off by a second so far. Much better than my former invicta which was slow by a minute per day!
Also, the solar power thing works like a charm, and I look forward to never messing with batteries or worrying that I've left my watch still for too long.
Bottom line: handsome watch, small diamonds, great time-keeping, never runs out of batteries, and a secret boost to the ego that you have 36 diamonds sitting on your wrist.
