| | Description | Powered by light, the Men's Limited Editon Blue Angels Skyhawk A-T Chronograph with Blue Leather Strap Watch from Citizen Eco-Drive is environmentally friendly, chock full of features, and comfortable enough to wear every day. This rugged timepiece features atomic time keeping, (automatically set by signals from North America, Europe and Asia), and offers a GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) display, world time with 43 cities, and two alarms. A 1/100 second chronograph measures up to 24 hours, and there's also a 99 minute countdown timer, perpetual calendar, and rotating slide rule bezel. For protection against damage, a non-reflective, hardened mineral crystal guards against scratches. And a blue dial with silver-tone hands and markers and digital display looks sleek and modern, while a rubber strap feels secure and relaxed on the wrist. Designed for long-term wear, this Citizen Eco-Drive original arrives in a gray box, along with a manual, information CD, and warranty information. | |

Left out best part.... Dec 08, 2010
By Neil L. Shapiro I have had this watch (wish I had gotten this price) for a few months and it is the best Eco-Drive I have owned. The specifications and the about paragraph though leave out one of the best features of this limited edition. Unlike their regular run of watches which feature hardened mineral crystals that can and do scratch after a time, Citizen limited editions such as this one feature a sapphire crystal. The sapphire crystal is just about unscratchable and so transparent it visually disappears. The vendor should make this, uh, clearer!
The Best Skyhawk Model Mar 18, 2011
By R. Busse I own both this watch and the black ion coated Skyhawk AT. I purchased this model to wear as a dress watch for work, so I wear it every day. It has satisfied all my expectations, and more. The Blue Angels color scheme is striking - I receive compliments on the watch all the time. The blue ion plating is actually much more striking in person than in photos. It's very shiny and gives the look of very high quality.
The blue crocodile strap is extremely high quality, and has an advantage in that it makes the watch much lighter than with the stainless steel strap. This watch is about as light as the titanium model. The deployment clasp is very high quality, and it allows the watch to open farther than metal bands, making it easier to slip over your hand.
Of course, getting the sapphire crystal is a huge bonus. You'll never have to worry about scratching the crystal again.
The presentation box and packaging are top notch - you'd think you were buying a watch costing three to five times what this one costs.
The common criticism of the Blue Angels model applies to this one - it is very difficult to pull the crown out with the watch on your wrist. You kind of need to use the fingernail hook technique - and this doesn't always work. The knurled crown on other Skyhawk models works much better. I also find that the two buttons on this model can be pushed accidentally - like when you're in chronograph mode which will stop the timing. However, these dings are minor and more than made up for by the positive attributes.
Overall, this is the nicest watch I've owned. Find one while you can. This limited edition is getting very scarce.
