| | Description | Guess was founded by Georges, Armand, Paul, and Maurice Marciano, four brothers born in Debdou village, Morocco. They moved to California from France in 1977 and founded the company in 1981. Seed money to start the business came from the Nakash family, owners of the Jordache denim empire. Their first product was a three-zipper style of jeans they named "Marilyn" (Style # 1015). Department stores and fashion critics were initially reluctant to carry the new 'stone washed denim' jeans, but in December when Bloomingdale's finally agreed with Georges to stock two dozen pairs of the new jeans as a favor to the brothers. They sold out quickly. | |

Great Watch May 18, 2009
By Pranit Singh I just love the watch. It is the best in its price range. A little heavy for people with skinny wrist. But for an average+ build it is pretty good. Just love the design - one of the best I have seen in recent times. Love to have it in my collection. I recommend it to all.

Huge! Sep 07, 2010
By The Watch Geek This is one of the best two tone watches with a black dial and black/silver bracelet! It's Big so make sure you like big watches. This looks like it would cost in the several hundreds. It's a bit heavy but not too bad at all. Check out the pics I posted for this watch.

Guess Oct 19, 2010
By Wick I bought this at the Guess Store at Ceasers in Las Vegas after I won a $200 pot off a guy at Texas Hold'em. Well worth it, I get lots of compliments on it and I just bought one for Dad for his birthday because he's always saying thats a great looking watch. So for the price tag that Amazon is offering it is a no brainer. Get it!

Guess Watch #2 Sep 21, 2011
By Michael A. Barton Guess is making bold statements in their men's watches. I was surprised after receiving my first Guess men's chronograph dial that looks reddish orange with a handsome stainless steel bracelet as a gift. After that, I was hooked and I would always check out their latest styles and this carbon fiber watch is no different. Yes, it's heavy so with that said, it's not for the weak wrist-ed men. This is a bold watch that wreaks of masculinity. The bracelet gives both style and uniqueness with its carbon fiber links that appear as Tweed patterns that outline the band. The face is solid and clean so, oily fingerprints will be obvious if you don't give it occasional wipes periodically. The crowns are strong and noticeable sitting off the large, deep face with those unique in dices that bleed deep blue/ royal purple. The white date window standout on top of the black face and brushed hr/min hands. The case is sturdy and the mineral window gives a nice look from afar. The watch was $195, including shipping, and from what I saw, that's about the going price (give or take). I would like to see the arms illuminate but it's not a deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely add this to my collection to wear it with my business attire and will be rock'n it after hours in my casual gear. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and Macy's had the best deal over Guess.com, Amazon and other retailers I checked out so I'd recommend it if you want to be noticed. My name is Mike and I approve this message.
