 Great service but mediocre batteries Oct 14, 2010

The batteries are low voltage somehow, even though they are about over a year old according to the letters on the batteries. Seller sent me Energizer replacement and a return envelope for the old batteries. Even though the voltage of the replacement is still a little low (better than the previous batteries), their service is good, or I would rate 2 star for it. I just don't know why the batteries are low voltage and my meter is working fine since I have verifeid it with other batteries.

These batteries were a fraction of the cost that you would find at the ' shack ' . . . I use these in a few watches that I own. They should last just as long as the ones purchased locally at a fraction of the costs . . Vendor was fast shipping - Will buy from again.

Until recently, I had never attempted to change a watch battery. I'm something of a watch lover and own quite a few. With the local shops charging $7 to change a battery, I decided to give it a try myself. Fortunately, several of my watches use this battery so I'm going to get a lot more than my money's worth.
I have to say that it's not all that difficult. Just pop off the back of the watch case, replace the battery and snap the back on again. It does require a little skill and you might not want to try this on a very expensive watch, but replacing a battery yourself on a basic watch is well worth it.
