 3rd Gen Prius battery May 24, 2012

The battery on my Prius ran out of juice and I could not find it anywhere in stores.
I read all the reviews on Amazon and I was really nervous that I was getting a fake. I went for something a little more expensive to be safe. For a little over $1 per battery, it's still a great deal. All Watch Parts shipped me the real deal and it's working out great.

These 5 batteries are the same as the ones that came with our Toyota car remote controls. The first one that I replaced was dead.Our car will not operate without the remote control, so I keep a spare battery in the car.I guess it should be checked to make sure it is working. The 5 batteries for the price is a real bargain. I have been buying all our specialty batteries from Amazon for this reason. Thank you.

I went thru this process for a Toyota avalon 2006 keyless remote. It uses a cr1632 and the process was not simple nor easy.
The clips that hold the battery in place can not be easily pushed aside to allow the old battery to be removed.
in this unit, there were two on the right/left bottom of battery that is one on each side. On top there were two right near each other. with a great deal of effort work and patience, I got one clip pushed back enough with a small screw driver that allowed me to slip the end of a thin paperclip under the battery and push it out.
then i had a great deal of trouble getting the new battery in properly. after that I did not remember how the circuit board goes back in. while i was examining it, the small switch covers used to open the doors trunk etc fell out.
So you can guess the rest of the nightmare. also, I could easily have ruined the circuit board .
So be sure you dont' have "two left hands" before you attempt this.

I am so pleased to find these batteries at a reasonable price. At the battery store, they wanted $16 for 4 batteries. I found 10 for $12; shipping was free and there was no tax. The order came in about two days. Thank you SO MUCH!
