Almost what I wanted Sep 06, 2010

I've been looking for a digital watch with a metal band for YEARS when I finally stumbled across this one. It is very light weight and not nearly as bulky as the last Casio I found several years ago. The clasp is slightly difficult to work, it has to be angled just right before it pops in. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is something I should have noticed before I bought it - it doesn't have a light. Timer works great, but I'd gotten used to having the date on the main screen rather than having to push a button to see it. The description says that the face is just coated to look silver, so we'll see how long it lasts. My old Casio has completely lost all silver coating so the plastic is visible and ugly, and I'm worried this one will do the same.
Overall, it's a decent looking watch that can be worn with a dressier outfit for those who are reliant on digital watches, like I am.
