Great Watch! Feb 22, 2011
By Larry Coppock This watch has met my expectations do far. It is comfortable, easy to take off and put on. It's thin which met my major requirement plus the solar feature insures correct time without worrying batteries. The price was right!

Classy, simple, accurate Sep 22, 2011
By W. Gross First of all, it's a Seiko. That's a name with a well-earned reputation. It's a classy, wear-anywhere watch. This is a solar watch, something Seiko has been manufacturing since 1977, long before Citizen started pushing its "eco-drive" watches (my wife has one of those, by the way, so I'm not knocking them). The Amazon price is half what my local store charges. The watch is easy enough to set up; being quartz, it keeps perfect time, even if it's not a "chronograph." The first couple of days, as it's storing up a long-term charge, the second hand will move two seconds at a clip to let you know it's still charging. When it goes second by second, it's fully charged. I had to shorten the wristband myself, which is simple, but it's still challenging to actually execute. I used a thumbtack to push in the pins - it takes some pressure to remove them (in the direction of the arrow on the inside of the band). I love the push-button lock on the wristband; it's very flexible, so it lies flat when you take the watch off. The day-date window is legible; it couldn't be larger without enlarging the watch itself, which wouldn't be good. I like the size and the style; it's not obvious on my wrist - like I said, it's classy. The crystal is hardened so it's scratch-resistant, as well as water-resistant. It's relatively thin so it doesn't bulge out from my wrist. It's much lighter and thinner than my old Pulsar (Seiko's economy line). Bottom line: I'm delighted with it.
very nice watch, but!!! Mar 18, 2012
By william z i purchased this watch a few months ago and received it quickly and in good condition. i like the watch a lot, looks very dressy. one problem, if you have a larger wrist do not buy this watch. this watch is suitable only for men with small hands and a skinny wrist. i e-mailed the seller asking for at least 3 additional links, to which they complied after about 3 weeks passed and several more reminder e-mails. the only problem is the additional links are the wrong ones, they are for an older type seiko, i know this because i have several older seiko watches. i am dissapointed as i can not wear this watch as i can just barely get it over my hand and when i close the clasp it cut off the blood supply to my hand. the seller should have paid closer attention in supplying the correct links. am dissapointed and angry with this seller, time for watches.
