This is a beautiful and thin gold watch, as is readily apparent in the picture. It is accurate and the solar power seems to work fine. I don't have to do anything special to charge it. In the ordinary course of the day, it charges from the light it catches. The one fault is that this, like most watches is difficult to read at night. I wish all watches had the Indiglo light feature found on Timex watches...which is the reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars.

I had a positive experience with my Seiko watch, so I focused on that brand. I was tired of going to a jeweler and dealing with periodic battery replacement, so I went solar. I needed a clasp gold tone band. And, I needed a dark dial so I could read the hands better. My last watch had a champaign face, and it looked great, but it became hard to read without glasses as I got older. At about half list price, I thought the price was fair, the delivery was very quick (couple of days), and it arrived in perfect condition in it's original box. I haven't had the watch long (6 weeks), but so far, I'm quite happy with it.

The watch came with a crystal scratch. Amazon replaced immediately and the new one came in perfect condition. One day's worth of sunshine keeps it charged for many months. Clasp is easier to open than on older models, and links easy to remove and reset but directions for that are lacking.
