I have been very happy with this watch! I get lots of compliments on the color and design of it. The face is incredibly thin and lightweight which is exactly what I want out of a watch. The leather strap is great, but I do have to replace it after wearing it nearly everyday for a two years now. I paid about $115 at a department store for this, so the Amazon price is great. I concur with the other reviews that the hands don't really glow in the dark, and to be honest, I didn't even know they were supposed to. Not a big deal for me. I have loved this watch so much that I believe I will continue to buy only Skagen watches from now on!

This is a beautiful watch, if you want something formal-looking. The only printed numerals are 12 and 6, making the face very simple but elegant. (The other hour markers are simple straight lines.) It has a relatively large face (1-3/8"). This plus the simple analog design make it very easy to read at a glance, which at least for me is the reason for wearing a formal watch. The leather strap is also simple but elegant, affixing to the watch by screws at the back, giving the whole unit an integrated, streamlined look. The strap needs to be replaced for $25.00 after three years of my use, but that's not uncommon for leather, which material I find very comfortable. The Amazon description states the dial is luminous; I think that is an error, at least I've never noticed it to be so, and I've had the watch for over three years. But I don't need a watch of this type to shine in the dark. I'll wear a more athletic-oriented watch for that. In summary, this is a beautiful, elegant watch that has elicited many compliments, not the least for its unique brown face. I paid over $100.00 for it at Macy's, so this is a very good price.

Disappointed! Luminous numerals and hands don't light much. Have to take the watch outside into the direct sunlight for energizing.....then lumination last only about 20 seconds. What good is that in the dark??!!
