This watch is sleek and gorgeous. The black on black is classy, while the crystals on the face (which are not done justice in this photo) add a subtle fun and feminine touch. This is my first ceramic watch and I don't think I'll ever wear any other kind now. It's slightly lighter than a metal watch generally would be, but still has enough heft that it feels like a quality piece. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is that this really is a very small watch- the face itself (not including the casing)is exactly the same size as a dime! Luckily, the proportions still work on my wrist, but it's something to keep in mind if you aren't used to dainty watches or jewelry. Beautiful, well made watch that is great with everyday outfits but looks classy with dressier attire- love it!

I had been interested in a ceramic watch, but didn't consider buying online as I wanted to see one in person. I purchased this watch in black on a recent cruise. The retail price at Effy was $225 and I got it for $176. The prices here on Amazon are far, far cheaper for the exact same watch (currently $76). I love the black watch, so when I found it in white on Amazon I immediately ordered it.
The product picture does not do it justice - looks somewhat like rubber online. In person it looks ceramic, almost like Corelle dishes. The downside is the watch is a lot like Corelle in that the ceramic doesn't scratch, but it will shatter. I accidentally dropped the black watch on my hard wood floor and one of the links shattered; so these are not quite as durable as I would have liked, especially considering the suggested retail. However, the watches come in a very large size, which is nice for women who have larger wrists. It has a double lock that provides a seemless closure. I had to have links removed by a jeweler so it would fit, but I had the extra to get it repaired. They come in a simple, stylish white gift box wrapped around a white pillow. Please see my pictures of the actual watches I purchased.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this watch and would buy another if they ever offer it in more colors (pink, blue, etc.). If you are interested in a ceramic watch, the Skagen is an elegant piece and an absolute bargain here on Amazon.

I love this watch. It has a classy look and is waterproof as well. It can be casual and still look great for work. Very pretty.
